Event Ticket Agreement
Ticket Purchase Agreement
These terms & conditions apply to all ticket holders
1. Binding contract
By purchasing a ticket for the Dead by Daylight 10th Anniversary Party (the “Event”), you enter into a binding agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions and the Event Policies (together, the “Agreement”).
By completing a ticket purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement, as well as our Privacy Policy available here.
If you did not purchase the ticket yourself, or if you purchased the ticket from someone other than Behaviour Interactive Inc., you agree, as a Ticket holder, to be bound by this Agreement and acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our Privacy Policy available here.
The Event is currently scheduled to be held on Sunday, June 14th, 2026, in the Old Port of Montreal, at The Grand Quay of the Port of Montreal (the “Venue”) located at 200 Rue de la Commune Ouest, Montreal, QC H2Y 0B8, Canada.
2. Parties
The parties to the Agreement (the “Parties”) are:
- BEHAVIOUR INTERACTIVE INC. 500-6666 Rue Saint-Urbain
Montréal, QC H2S 3H1
(also referred to as “Behaviour Interactive,” “we”, “us”, “our”, or “ours”)
AND
- You
(also referred to as “your”, or “yours”)
3. Agreement to purchase ticket
If you have placed a purchase order for a ticket for the Event, you agree to proceed with the purchase of the ticket, and we agree to sell you the ticket for the Event detailed in your purchase order (a “Ticket” or “Tickets”). All Tickets must be purchased via the Swapcard platform (“Platform”), which may be accessed on the Event Websites (as defined below).
4. Right to attend the Event
Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, each Ticket grants the Ticket holder a revocable license to attend the Event. No other relationship between the Parties, whether express or implied, arises from the purchase of a Ticket or from otherwise becoming a Ticket holder.
5. One Ticket purchased per person
Each individual is permitted to purchase a maximum of one (1) Ticket. Any attempt to exceed this limit constitutes a breach of this Agreement and will result in the immediate cancellation and forfeiture of all Tickets purchased in violation of this provision, without any right to refund or compensation.
6. Agreement to pay
You agree to pay the full price of any Tickets ordered, including any applicable taxes and delivery, convenience, and other fees, as described online during the Ticket purchase process. You understand and agree that until we receive payment in full, you do not have any right to the Tickets.
7. Currency
All Ticket prices are stated in Canadian dollars and must be paid in Canadian dollars unless explicitly stated otherwise.
8. Refunds and exchanges
You must review your Ticket selection before submitting a Ticket purchase order. Subject to the provisions below for cancelled or postponed events, there are no exchanges or refunds once a Ticket has been purchased.
9. Delivery
Tickets will be delivered electronically to the email address provided at the time of purchase or made available as a mobile version through the official event application. If you select email delivery, you must either print the electronic Ticket(s) and present them at the Event for admission or display the mobile version on a compatible device.
Delivery times and applicable fees vary depending on the delivery method chosen. Behaviour Interactive Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete address information, third-party carriers, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. All delivery charges, if any, are non-refundable.
10. Compliance with the Event Policy
You agree to comply with the Event Policy and all of the Event policies incorporated by reference in the Event Policy, which is available for your review at code of conduct page.
11. Cancellation or postponement of the Event
You are solely responsible for verifying whether the Event has been cancelled or postponed through the official communication channels specified by us.
We may cancel or postpone the Event if, for reasons beyond our reasonable control, it cannot be held as scheduled. Such reasons include, but are not limited to, force majeure events such as natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, war, terrorism, governmental actions, labor disputes, power outages, or any other circumstances that make it impossible or impracticable to proceed with the Event as originally planned or advertised, or due to other significant circumstances that materially affect our ability to deliver the Event as planned or advertised.
If the Event is cancelled or postponed, we will notify you at the email address you have provided to us at the time you purchased the Tickets on the Platform, or at the updated email address in case of a transfer of Ticket.
If the Event is cancelled, we will refund the original Ticket price indicated on the confirmation order issued at the time of purchase. You agree that we may choose the payment method for issuing the refund, which may differ from your original payment method.
If the Event is postponed, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to either (1) issue a refund in accordance with the terms set out in the preceding paragraph or (2) honour the Ticket for admission to the Event on the rescheduled date and time.
Should we issue a refund, you agree that you will not be entitled to any additional monetary compensation beyond the original Ticket price indicated on the confirmation order issued at the time of purchase. You further agree that no additional compensation, reimbursement, or damages of any kind will be provided. All refunds shall be issued in Canadian dollars, based on the original Ticket price, unless explicitly stated otherwise. You understand and agree that we will not be responsible for currency exchange fluctuations or related charges incurred by you, including any currency exchange fees that may be charged by your credit card issuer, if any.
12. Reselling, assignment and other transfers of tickets
Tickets are personal, revocable licenses to attend the Event. They may not be resold, assigned, or otherwise transferred for any consideration, whether monetary or otherwise. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you may transfer a Ticket to another individual solely for that individual’s personal use, provided that: (1) the consideration for such transfer does not exceed the original price of the Ticket as indicated on the confirmation order issued at the time of purchase; (2) the transfer complies with all applicable laws; (3) the transfer complies with this Agreement (including that Ticket holder must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of the Event); (4) the recipient agrees to be bound by this Agreement and meets the minimum age requirements to attend the Event; and (5) the transfer of your Ticket occurred on the Platform. Any transfer of Tickets must be done via the Platform (which is also accessible on https://10thanniversary.deadbydaylight.com/) so that the name of the ticket holder be duly modified in the Platform. You agree to be fully responsible for ensuring that the recipient has read this Agreement and agrees to be bound by it.
Any unauthorized resale, attempted resale, or transfer made in contravention of this Agreement will render the Ticket void and may result in denial of entry to the Event without refund. We reserve the right to cancel any Ticket that has been resold, assigned or otherwise transferred in violation of this provision and refuse entry to the Event to a Ticket holder who has acted in contravention of this provision.
13. Ticket authenticity - Risk of not purchasing your ticket directly from us
The DBD 10th Anniversary Landing Page (https://10thanniversary.deadbydaylight.com/) and Swapcard platform page (https://app.swapcard.com/login/event/dead-by-daylight-10th-anniversary/registration) (“Event Websites”) are the only official and authorized platform for purchasing Tickets to the Event. Tickets obtained through any other source, including those gifted or resold by third parties, may be lost, stolen, counterfeit, or otherwise invalid, and holders of such Tickets may be denied entry to the Event.
If you present a Ticket that was not purchased directly by you from us through the Event’s official platform, we assume no responsibility for its validity and cannot be held liable for any refusal of entry or any related inconvenience.
14. Lost or stolen Tickets
Tickets cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed.
15. Event is for adults only
The Event is strictly for individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of the Event. You represent and warrant that you will be at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of the Event. You understand and agree that during the Event, we may, at any time, require you to present a valid government-issued piece of photo identification, confirming that you are over the age of eighteen (18). Failure to provide such identification upon request will result in immediate denial of entry or removal from the Event without any refund or compensation.
Entry will be refused to any person who does not meet this age requirement, without any refund or compensation.
16. Travel arrangements and risks related to impossibility to attend
You are solely responsible for making all travel and accommodation arrangements necessary to attend the Event. We do not arrange, provide, or reimburse any transportation, lodging, meals, or other travel-related expenses.
We assume no liability for any costs, delays, cancellations, or other issues related to your travel or accommodation, regardless of the reason, including Event cancellation or postponement.
You acknowledge and agree that you assume all risks related to your inability to attend the Event for any reason, including but not limited to illness, travel restrictions, missed transportation, or personal emergencies. No refunds, credits, or compensation will be provided for any expenses incurred by you in connection with your travel or accommodation.
17. Venue, time and duration of the Event
You acknowledge and agree that the Venue indicated by us for the Event is for indicative purposes only and may be subject to change. As such, the final location of the Event may differ from the initially indicated Venue. Information about the Venue can be found on the Event Websites.
If the Venue changes, we will notify you at the email address provided during the Ticket purchase process. In such a case, the Event will be held within fifty (50) kilometers of the initial Venue. For the purposes of this provision, distance will be measured as a straight-line distance between the initial Venue and the final location.
You agree to comply with all terms and conditions imposed by the owner of the Venue for attendance, as they are in force at the time of the Event. Current terms and conditions of the Venue are found here: https://www.port-montreal.com/fr/grand-quai/espaces-publics/reglement.
You understand and agree that the beginning and ending times of the Event, as well as any specific schedule, are provided for indicative purposes only and may be subject to change. Consequently, the scheduled duration of the Event is provided for indicative purposes only and may vary. The actual duration may be shorter or longer than the scheduled duration and may affect programming or access to specific Event Features. Variations in duration do not entitle you to any refund, credit, or compensation.
18. Event features
Event Features are not guaranteed and may change at any time without prior notice. Event Features include, but are not limited to: event access hours, number of participants, schedules, floor plans, exhibitors, developer panels, reveals, meet-and-greets, gaming stations, mini-expo, broadcasts, gifts, rewards, contests, vendors, guests, speakers, panels, special events, autograph sessions, photo opportunities, performances, networking events, or any other activities organized by Behaviour Interactive, whether in person or virtually, as part of the Event.
Access to certain Event Features may require prior registration or may be otherwise limited to certain Ticket holders, including certain categories of Ticket holders. Certain Event Features may also require an additional separately priced fee.
Where an Event Feature is only accessible to a Ticket holder at a specific time, the Ticket holder is solely responsible for participating in the Event Feature in a timely manner and for observing any specific times or time limits provided by Behaviour Interactive.
19. Meals and beverages
Each Ticket grants admission to the Event only.
Meals, beverages, and other food or drink offered during the Event may be available for purchase on site at your own expense.
Outside food and beverages, including glass bottles, cans, and alcoholic beverages, are strictly prohibited. Sealed water bottles are permitted.
We do not provide reimbursement, refunds, or compensation for any food or beverage expenses. Availability, pricing, and selection of food and beverages are subject to change without prior notice.
20. Identification
We reserve the right to require any person present at the Event, including any Ticket holder, to present a valid government-issued photo identification, for security purposes, to ensure the person is the Ticket rightful holder and to verify their eligibility to attend the Event.
21. Media consent
For the purpose of this provision, “Content” means any capture of your voice, image, likeness, actions, and statements, as well as any other element related to you, by any means now known or later developed (including photographs, audio recordings, and films).
By participating in the Event, you agree to grant us the right to capture your Content during the Event and to use, copy, reproduce, adapt, edit, modify, exploit, broadcast, publish, display, transmit, and distribute your Content in connection with the Event or the promotion of our products, services, or events. You hereby agree to grant us such rights worldwide, on all media and platforms now known or later developed, for a period of ten (10) years from the date of capture, with the right to sublicense.
You understand and agree that the consents included within this provision are granted to us free of charge and that no compensation of any kind will be paid to you in connection with it.
You may withdraw the consents provided under this provision at any time by sending a clear written request to dbdanniversary@bhvr.com. Withdrawal will be effective on a prospective basis and will apply to future capture of Content at the Event after our receipt of your withdrawal notice. Withdrawal does not operate retroactively and does not affect the use, copy, reproduction, adaptation, edition, modification, exploitation, broadcasting, publication, displaying, transmission, or distribution of Content already captured, produced, or disseminated before we received your withdrawal notice.
You acknowledge that, once any materials have been disclosed on public platforms, we cannot control, prevent, or monitor any subsequent use by third parties. Accordingly, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we cannot be held responsible or liable for any unauthorized use, copying, reposting, distribution, or republication of materials by third parties that may include your Content, including where such materials are shared on public websites or social media.
22. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Behaviour Interactive, its affiliates, and any service providers involved in the Event, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, and representatives (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”), from and against any and all claims, actions, damages, liabilities, and demands, including, without limitation, reasonable litigation costs and expenses, such as attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to (a) your breach of this Agreement, or (b) your misappropriation, or other violation of our intellectual property rights.
23. Applicable law and choice of forum
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Parties hereby agree that this Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws applicable within the Province of Quebec, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Furthermore, the Parties hereby elect to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec, in the judicial district of Montreal, in respect of any action or proceeding arising out of or related to the Agreement. However, this clause will be applicable without prejudice to our right to obtain any injunctive relief from any court of competent jurisdiction.
24. Severability
Should a court of competent jurisdiction declare a portion of the Agreement invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Agreement shall remain in force.
25. Right to Cancel Tickets, Refuse Access and Expel
We reserve the right to cancel any Ticket, refuse you access to the Event, expel you, and institute legal proceedings against you if you breach any provision of this Agreement, including the Code of Conduct. We reserve the right to, without any right to refund or compensation, refuse you access to the Event in case you are or have e-harassed, threatened, or made toxic comments related to Behaviour or its employees.
26. Language / Langue
